My next card is for Make it Monday #147: Multi-Layer Images from a Single Stamp. I pulled out an old favorite, Aloha and stamped the surfboard several times, once on white, then Simply Chartreuse, then Hibiscus Burst--cut them all out and put it back together on a Spiral Notebook die cut. I used this weeks sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #118.
Have you heard that I am now on the DT at CASology? You have probably heard, because I have been shouting it from the rooftops. This is my first week on the DT, and I went a little overboard getting ready for my big debut. I made a bunch of cards for 'BUBBLY' (yes, I really am that much of a dork) and then posted my favorite one. Have you played yet? Want some more inspiration? ReplyDeleteBeautiful surfboard - great dimension from the layers. Love winter owl- can see how the dies give a much smoother edge than my cutting! All of the bubbly cards are fabulous (love champagne).

I really like the one that has the congratulations banner on it...still like your debut card a teeny bit more, but I think it is because I saw it first!

Lots os gorgeousness, Joyce! I love that sweet LF owl - he looks so cosy in his scarf! Your surfboard card is awesome - love the layered cuts you did for that stamp! And look at all that bubbly!! They're all awesome cards but I think of these ones I like the third best. :)

Joyce, your cards are amazing, simply amazing! I love the first one with that adorable little owl. What patterned paper did you use? I love it. Your surf board card is sweet too, makes me almost wish summer was here. Your bubbly card are just fabulous, love all your different takes using that stamp set. You have been very busy, so many cards and I love them all!

I'm always intrigued on variations of things, which is why I love seeing what people come up with for the same challenge, I suppose. I also love your famous owl, looking like he could not care less that he's in the middle of a blizzard!
