Four-of-a-Kind (January 2014)

It is time for our quarterly Four of a Kind post--me, Cathy from Empty Nest Crafter, Kim from Cupcakes, Cards and Kim, and Renee from It's a Patchwork Life.

Our hostess this month is none other than yours truly (me).  I put together a kit that celebrates winter and all things snowy.  It might be a strange choice, seeing as how I live in San Diego, but paper crafting is the only way I get to experience snow and winter most of the time.  Plus, I needed an excuse to buy Two Feet Deep when it came out last fall, so I decided to base my kit around that stamp set.  Here is a picture of the kit I sent out.

I have quite a few pictures today, so I will get right to it.

The next few cards are some designs I have gotten in the habit of using to showcase the patterned papers from the kits.

Well, that's it for me.  I cannot wait to see what the other three did with my kit.  It is fun to put a kit together and send it out, but it is also a bit worrisome, hoping that everyone will like it and have fun creating with it.

Here is a link to my pinterest board where I pin everyone's Four-of-a-Kind creations.

Edited to add:  Linking up cards #2 and 3 at Simon Says Wednesday Embossing Challenge.

  6. Oh my! You totally rocked your very own kit...so many wonderful and beautiful cards that I can not wait to case. One of the things I love most about this group is seeing who we channel one another in our cards, like your last card, the reverse of mine, And your choice of patterned paper was amazing, this is one of my all time top favorites! The color combinations are so perfect together and then to top that off you paired it with a gorgeous stamp set that really made the paper shine! Thank you so much for this kit, it is truly incredible!

  12. I loved going through all the blogs one at a time. You have a style all your own Joyce. These are so CAS! You still amaze me with how clean they can be yet at the same time don't need one more single thing. Your style really shows through on these and is so different than the other three. Well done!

  15. It's hard to believe you could have had as much fun as me Joyce, but it sure looks like you did! I LOVED this month's kit! Gun to my head...have to pick a favorite of yours I would probably pick the first one...I absolutely love the sled. My very favorite image of the set...I also love the snowflake garland card...I ended up cutting most of mine up! I also love the last card that sort of reminds me of a clutch purse...cute idea to angle the sentiment. Thank you so much for a very fun kit!
