Happy Saturday everybody. If you are looking for my Lawnscaping Winter Blog Hop post, scroll down or just click here.
Today I have a card for this week's CASology challenge, where the key word is Snowflake. I used the technique highlighted in this week's Make it Monday #144: Heat Embossing Vellum. I am also entering this card in CAS-ual Fridays CFC 123: Let it Snow.
I channeled my 'inner Ardyth' to make this square card, featuring a snowflake die cut from dark navy shimmer paper. I cut the snowflake out of the front panel, adhered the stamped vellum sentiment over the opening, filled the opening with a dark navy shimmer snowflake, and popped the front panel up with foam adhesive.
Here is a closer look at that shimmery snowflake.
Now, for another tag set--this one using colors from this week's ColourQ cQc #219 and City Scene. The two buildings are stamped right on the tag, and the tree is a die cut piece adhered with a dimensional dot. I used Ranger Black Sparkle embossing powder on Santa's sleigh, and it is very glittery in person.
Thanks for Visiting
