ColourQ #215, CAS-ual Fridays #119, Simon Says, and Serendipity #23

I've got two cards today--the first one is for three different challenges:  ColourQ #215, Cas-ual Fridays #119:  Embossing and Simon Says Monday Challenge to use ink.  This card also proves to me that I need the new dies that PTI announced today called Tipped Tops.  I wanted to use a tipped panel on this card, and did not plan on the actual shape that I got.  No big deal, but I think a die would make it easier.  I used my new CAS-ual Fridays Amber Waves stamps on this card--how fun to use CAS-ual Fridays stamps for their own challenge.

My next card is for this weeks Serendipity Stamps challenge SSCB#23 to use scraps.  Well, I have a lot of scraps, so I pulled out some scraps from my little PTI Pink Patterns pad and paper pieced the dresses on the Serendipity Three Dresses stamp.  This stamp is one of my favorite stamps to paper piece, and I made a baby card with three pink dresses.

Supplies Used (PTI):
Many Thanks
Stamps:  CAS-ual Fridays Amber Waves
Paper:  White
Ink:  Canyon Clay, SU:  Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Cherry Cobbler, Versafine Vintage Sepia
Dies:  Woodgrain IP

Welcome Baby
Stamps:  Serendipity Three Dresses, Think Big Favorites
Paper:  White, Sweet Blush, Pink Patterns
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
Dies:  Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles

Thanks for Visiting

  3. JOYCE, love the way you used the CAS-ual Fridays stamps on your card! And I agree with Tracey, you don't need the dies at all ... the angle looks great! Plus by doing it yourself, you'll always get a different look for your cards. The multi-colored border looks great underneath your panel. So glad you linked up with the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!

Also, the patterns on your baby dresses are just perfect ... just the right scale!

  7. These are all great Joyce. I think you did a great job on your tilted panel. I think the dies are going to be so much easier. I can't wait to get them. :) Very cute dresses on your second card.

  8. Two lovely creations Joyce! Nice job with the off set panel - I was thinking I could just make them as well - but having the PTI dies would be so much easier wouldn't it??!! LOL!!

I have that wonderful dress stamp as well - it's so sweet - and makes a lovely baby girl card!

  19. Look at you all CAS on the first (although nothing simple about all that stamping) and then all fussy on that paper pieced card with the dresses. You have a great eye for color - both are so different and both amazing!
