'Manning-Up' the Muse

I have a card for this week's Muse Challenge #20, where our inspiration is Laurie Willison with this pretty card.

Since I am in Father's Day and all things masculine mode lately, I have kept the layout and changed things up a bit to make a Father's Day card.  I used darker and more masculine hues of some of the same colors, changed the images to stars, and used twine instead of a ribbon.  In place of bling, I glued a tiny die cut star in the center of each star, and covered it with Glossy Accents.

I am also entering this card into the following additional challenges:

Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Brought to You by the Letter S  (I featured Stars)

  12. Joyce, this is fabulous! What a wonderful take on this week's Muse. So bright and fun for Father's Day too. I have resisted the "stars" for some time now and every time you use them I have to ask myself why? You rocked this challenge!
