Muse #19 and Simon Says

I have a card today for Muse #19, where our muse is the always inspirational Michelle.  I am also entering this card into the Simon Says....Anything Goes challenge as well as the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge Into the Woods.  Michelle's beautiful card gave me a chance to make a card in the folk art style--something I have admired for a while, but never attempted myself.

Michelle's Inspiration Card

Here is my take on Michelle's card.  I was inspired by the layout and the folk art style.  I used images from Sending You, and then impressed with a wood grain impression plate.

Supplies Used (PTI):
Stamps:  Sentiment Signs, Sending You
Paper:  White
Ink:  Simply Chartreuse, Hibiscus Burst, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Harvest Gold, Colorbox Orange Fizz, Memento Angel Pink, Versafine Onyx Black
Other:  Wood Grain Impression Plate

Thanks for Visiting

  5. OOH - I love how you increased the size but decreased the number of flowers - a completely different feel, but also still clearly inspired by Michelle's Muse! Thanks for playing along!

  19. This looks great with the woodgrain background. I also love the way the curved leaves draw your eye around the central sentiment :)
