My card for today is inspired by 4 different challenges. Our Muse this week is Therese Calvird, with this beautiful card. I was inspired by her soft water color look, brilliantly shaded pink/purple flower, her simple sentiment, and all that white space.
I used the techniques shown in this week's Make it Monday 111: Watercoloring Embossed Images. I am also inspired by the beautiful flowers in this week's Tuesday Trigger and will be entering my card into this week's Simon Says Stamp challenge of spring flowers.
I water colored with my brand new Stampin Up Rich Razzleberry ink for the flowers, and Distress Peeled Paint for the leaves.
Edited to add: I am linking this project to the The Wonder of Watercolor Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
Supplies Used (PTI):
Stamps: Year of Flowers Gladiolus, Botanical Silhouettes
Paper: White
Ink: Color Box Dragonfly Black, Versafine Onyx Black, SU Rich Razzleberry, Distress Peeled Paint
Other: Black Embossing Powder
Thanks for Visiting
