Here it is already past the mid point of March, and I honestly do not know where all the time is going. The theme for the Waltzingmouse Blog Party is 'luck' and I have to say that I was pretty stumped for a long time about what to do. I finally came up with a card, and I can't think of when or why I would ever send a card like this...but it does fit the theme, so here goes....
I figured out that I could use the heart from Sewing Box Hugs to make a 4 leaf clover, and I masked part of the sentiment from my new Folk Art Medallion set, to come up with this very green card, I guess to celebrate someone who is lucky in love--or maybe to wish some lucky love to a love lorn friend--I seem to have quite a few of those lately. I used some Alphabet dies from PTI to cut out the word 'lucky', and some alphabet stamps for the word 'in'.
I am also entering this card into the Celebrate the Negative challenge in the Moxie Fab world.
I am very eager to see what every one else did this month with the theme of luck. Enjoy the rest of the hop.
Thanks for Visiting
Super cute card. I love the clover made out of the hearts.

Top of the mornin' to ya! I'm thinking you could give the card to your husband today :)Love the look of the polka dots peeking from underneath the die cuts!
ReplyDeleteGreat card. Love the coloring and your use of the negative letters with the woodgrain impression.
ReplyDeleteI too am wondering where March has gone. Looking forward to warmer weather as we have been having below normal temps this month.
Oh wow Joyce! This is simply delightful!
ReplyDeleteOh you make me laugh! Give it to your husband... unless you just want to tell your friends you are lucky in love…
ReplyDeleteLove the negative lettering and your sweet polka dot shamrock.
I really like how you have the pattern peeking out from behind the letters. As for when to send it, it would be great for a non-traditional love card.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant use of those sewing hearts for your shamrock Joyce, and I love those polka dots!
ReplyDeleteOh I think this is really super! Love the way you've made the shamrock and the sweet sentiment.
