It's the end of April, and time for our April 12 Kits of Christmas
post. There are 12 of us who take turns sending surprise packages of
holiday card making supplies to each other every month. To read more
about this group, please see my January post here. This month, our host was Marybeth of Marybeth's Time for Paper, and she sent us a package chock full of holiday goodness.

I was able to make 3 cards, and have so many leftovers to continue to use throughout the year.
I think this last card is my favorite. I was so happy to see this Country Landscape die cut in the package, because it is a die I had been wanting all last season. After I finally got the die, I promptly put it away and forgot about it. Of course, it was the first thing I nabbed to work with out of Marybeth's wonderful kit.
I can't wait to see what everyone else has done with their kits. Here
is a list of the other members of the 12 Kits of Christmas.

Joyce, these are so fabulous! My favorite one is the first one, I love the coloring of the two little angels, just so sweet and perfect with the plaid paper. On your second card I would have never thought to use the fiber to decorate the tree with, just so smart. I was so stumped on that.
ReplyDeleteJoyce, we thought alike with the plaid paper and the cute angels. I love how you colored them, it looks so vintage and the sentiment is on a ticket! Great idea. Your tree with the tinsel...now that was super smart and I never would have thought of it. I love the last card and the Peace sentiment. It works perfectly with the village scene. You did a great job on your card trio, looking so forward to seeing what you have got coming to us for May!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Joyce , you were brave and colored the little girls in too. They look beautiufl with the plaid paper. The tree you trimmed is so pretty I never thought of that . Love the last one with the landscape, I think you were the first one to let me know anything about that die , then I had to have it because it was so hard to get.:) All three are sweet!
ReplyDeletebeautiful
ReplyDeleteJoyce, these are all fabulous! I love the sweet image, and the die cuts, festive papers and designs! You will be so ahead of the game come November!
ReplyDeletesweet cards! I always love seeing what you create with your packages. I love that last card, too... that die is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI've just been admiring Christina's projects with this fabulous kit & now I see you've come up trumps too Joyce - delightful! xxx
ReplyDeleteFabulous!!
ReplyDeleteLove those little angels against the plaid...
and I'm so glad I saved mine! :)
They're all so fabulous...
but I think my favorite is the last one...
that scene set against the night sky...
love it!! :)
These are great!! My favorite is the last one. Of course now I know there is a die out there like that I have to avoid ;) but I love the cards!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards Joyce! I love to see what you all come up with! Christmas is my fave all year long:) What you did with the garland trim in the reverse diecut of the tree is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteDo you all ever post what's in your supplies package? That angel stamp would be something I would love for my nieces:)
Hope you have a super day Joyce!
Wow! This month flew by. Love your trio of cards. The scene on the last card is very peaceful. Love the banner on the 2nd card. Great job as usual. Wish I could have some Christmas done, but now the months continue to pass without one. Maybe next month. He He.
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce! I love your Christmas tree with all the fancy "garland" - so pretty! Your little angels look darling with the plaid, and that scene you created with the Country landscape is perfect with the "Peace" sentiment!
ReplyDeleteAll fantastic cards Joyce! I'm impressed that you did such a fabulous job decorating 'your first Christmas tree'. Wrapping the fiber around the tree is brilliant. Your last card with the landscape is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThese are all just fabulous, Joyce! I adore how you did the little angels with soft coloring. They are adorable and look fantastic with the plaid. I would never have thought to trim the tree like that. What a clever idea! It's looks so festive and pretty. And I love the little night scene--great colors and perfect sentiment!
ReplyDeleteThis is just sonfun to see how everyone interprets the kit! Those sweet angels against the plaid is just adorable BUT my favorite is the last one. Such a simple and clean design!!
ReplyDeleteThree wonderful cards, Joyce! I was excited to see the landscape die cut, too, and I love how striking it looks against the blue cardstock. What a fun way to use the eyelash yarn to trim the tree! And your little angels look so sweet with their pom-pom hats and the ticket embellishment. Great job with the kit this month!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, Joyce! The third one is my favourite, too-- what a great die! I love how you used it!
ReplyDeletebeautiful cards!! love the 'tinsel' on the tree!!
ReplyDeleteI think that my favorite is the last, I love that deep blue sky with the sweet font of the "peace" sentiment. Putting the tinsel on the tree was the perfect touch in the second! And I like that the "joy" is in a ticket stub on the first! Great job this month, Joyce :)
ReplyDeleteYay .. good to see you using that die cut, hope it inspires you to use yours too, its not just for Christmas you know :0)
ReplyDeleteThree wonderful cards...love the sparkly trim round the tree too :0)

Hi Joyce! I can't seem to find your email, I have a few questions about the 12 kits of Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce! I love what you've done so much...how you wrapped the garland around the tree, the awesome Peace sentiment in the blue sky, and the ticket! OH! I never would have thought to use that as a sentiment strip on a holiday card but I am SO using that idea one day!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun things you ladies have going here. :) Love the plaid in the first one and the way you put the sentiment on the ticket. The garland on the second is awesome and I love the third one. I've been wanting that die too!
ReplyDeleteJoyce I LOVE all your cards! What a FUN group you girls have!! I LOVE this idea too! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on all your creations!
Have a WONDERFUL day!
