Today's challenge was to make an interactive card. I think that the challenge was probably designed to make me see how fun an interactive card could be, and how much I need those new dies. I am totally convinced. I used this tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers to make a couple of spinner cards using Frog Hop and Its a Jungle Out There. I used a SU Word Window punch to create the path for these spinner cards. It worked pretty well, but my placement was limited to where the punch could reach. Dies are much better, because I could put them anywhere on the paper. My mind is spinning (ha ha) with all the possibilities the new PTI dies would create.
Thanks for Visiting
Absolutely love that little frog...
ReplyDeleteflying through the air after that fly!!
Both are so adorable...
and how did you cut the "path"...
it's so "clean"?
How cute are they? Love the color combos:)
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous! Love them!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Renee. How did you cut that out? You don't need that die, this one is perfect. Such a great idea to use the frog and zebra. I hope you win. I hope you win. I hope you win!
ReplyDeleteVery cool cards, Joyce! Great job with the challenge!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Both the cards are so cute. You are on a roll, Joyce! Good on you. Love love all your projects, you made for PTI anniversary festivities:)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love the frog one especially! Making my 2 interactive cards today showed me that maybe I don't need the dies (mostly because I don't like making fiddly cards too much) but those sentiments are a must-have - funny how things turn out differently for different people... ps, was everyone nice for v-day afterall? lol.
ReplyDeleteJoyce, these are cool! Looks like you don't need the dies aferall, you've got this down :) What a cute idea to make the frog in pink, and I love the colors and grasses in the zebra one.
ReplyDeleteThese are so super cute!!!! I love your color choices too!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Using Frog Hop for a spinner card was the first thing I thought of when I saw the new dies.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Joyce you made such amazing cards for the interactive challenge. I didn't do the last two, my creative mojo needed a break. I love the colours you used, the stamps and the sentiments. You may not need the dies because this is clean perfection. Which die did you use for the grass?
ReplyDeleteHow much fun are these Joyce?! Utterly delightful - you did a fantastic job :) x
ReplyDeleteThey are both very cute!
ReplyDeleteThese are so fun Joyce!!! You did a great job with the interactive cards!
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce! Your card is adorable! I wanted to let you know too that the Hero Arts, Delicate Blossoms set I just used on my blog is the clear set and I got it off Amazon. I was ordering some other things and it seemed a pretty good price so I finally got it. I know I'll use it a lot and the flower bunches, there are 2, are huge! Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteToo adorable! Both of the cards are so much fun, you really did a fabulous job.
ReplyDeleteSimply adorable. Can't wait to see what you do with the dies I know you'll be ordering. I can't wait for mine.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! These are too, too cute! I am so glad I got that spinner die last night, now I just need these stamp sets! I see getting those dies will have me wanting all kinds of stamps I never wanted before! ugh-oh! This could be trouble! :)
ReplyDeleteamazing cards!
ReplyDeleteA very inventive use of your punch Joyce, I love the idea of the frog moving across the card....a great movement for him :)
