I was able to take a quick break from all the homework assigned by my card making class in order to play along with this week's Make it Monday MIM#48: Creating Backgrounds with Border Dies.
I used my Ticket Border Die to create this card:
We are going to see my daughter's good friend in the upcoming school musical, and I will see if Rachel wants to give her this card. Otherwise, I will give it to my mom the next time she is in one of her community theatre productions. One of my goals this year is to use more of my cards, so this card will definitely be given to someone. I will use the ticket in the bottom right corner to add the date of the performance of whoever receives this card.
Supplies Used (PTI):
Stamps: Just the Ticket, Say it with Style, Distressed Stripes, Background Basics Diamonds
Paper: Orange Zest, Harvest Gold, True Black
Other: Just the Ticket, Happy Day, Mat Stack 4 Dies
Thanks for Visiting
This a great card Joyce ! I love that you will be giving it to either ,Rachel's friend or your mom, for a performance. Such a clever idea to mark the date like that. How neat that your mom does community theater! Perfect card with a perfect use.
