Get Well Cards


I 'took' (watched) my first class for the Clean & Simple Card Making course.  

I chose this sketch:


And made this card, using this week's Play Date Cafe PDCC#113 challenge colors, which I interpreted as Vintage Cream, Aqua Mist and Spring Moss.

  2. I watched the 1st class video too, but we're all too sick for me to think of crafting at all :( hopefully I'll be able to join in before the end of the week. I'll enjoy seeing what you're making instead.

    love the background...
    and the CAS butterflies and sentiment...
    perfect!
    The 2nd one is equally as beautiful...

  5. Oh this is so beautiful! You did a wonderful job and I love the colors. Do you like and recommend the class? I love simple framing and matting on cards.

  10. I just love that stitches and swirls with the butterflies. It is a simple one, but with the pretty stitched stamping, quite elegant. The butterflies give it a really happy "feel" to it too. Great job. Looking forward to seeing your homework from the class!

  14. i love the first card the most. I like the unexpected "white space" in the middle of the card. It really makes your stitches and swirls stand out :-) Have fun in class!
