This week's Make it Monday teaches us about multi-stamp background building. There are some great tips in the video. I decided to use this week's ColourQ #109 colors to make my card.
I used stamps from Turning a New Leaf, Asian Fusion, and Butterfly Kisses to make my background. I interpreted the colors as best I could with my inks: SU Crumb Cake, Distress Fired Brick, Memento Tangelo and ColorBox Harbor.
I love the stamps you chose to build your background! I love those colors! I am really tempted to try and whip up a card because I love those colors so much, and you used them brilliantly in your design!
That is absolutely one of the prettiest stamped backgrounds I have ever seen. I am pinning this one! The colors are so striking and you used great stamps with it too. Very, very good job on this one Joyce.
Lovely card. You did a great job with both challenges. I found those colors so hard to work with, but you did an amazing job pulling the color challenge off. Love the twine with the notched edges.
what? no aviary owl? haha. love the colors - they scared me a bit when I saw them in that lamp, but you totally made it work!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love that background Joyce, great use of the colours too :)
