Here is my card:
I chose the book "The Cat in the Hat" because it is one our family favorites. I had a lot of fun with this challenge, but I think a bit of explanation is in order. The cat is self explanatory. The red and white stripes are from the pattern on the cat's hat. The window signifies the window that the children are looking out of when they are bored and see the cat, and also when they see their mom coming. It's really hard to see in this photo, but I stamped Versamark hats all over the background stripes. (Yes, it is a witch's hat, but that is all I had). His bow tie has been transformed into a red rhinestone. The sentiment captures the spirit of the story.
Supplies Used:
Stamps Judikens Cat, PTI Take Three Winter
Paper: PTI White, Black, SU Real Red
Other: PTI Alpha Blocks Die, SU Lattice Embossing Folder, Nesties, black embossing powder, rhinestones, dimensionals
Thanks for Visiting
