I played along with this week's Make it Monday #176 and made an easel card using colors from ColourQ #257. I saw a couple of cards in the gallery that had birthday banners, and decided that is what I would do.
It has been practically forever since I played along with Case Study, but I have been wanting to play with embossing and coloring vellum and saw that was what Debbie did on this inspiration card. This is my second attempt at this technique--I used Friends till the End stamps.
This card below was my first attempt, and I did not like how the white embossing looked--I think that the detail on the leaves was too fine to capture with my embossing powder--so I made the card at the top. I decided to assemble the card anyway, and then decided that I did like it after all. The stamps are Summer Garden by Mama Elephant/SSS.
Last up is a super simple thank you note card--A1 sized using Daffodil Delight ink and Wet Paint and Thanks All Ways stamps.
I made three more of these and called it a set.
Well, that's it for me today.
Thanks for Visiting

Well, this comment is going to be a long one!! I want to gush over each amazing creation!! Starting with that CUTE easel card - what fun colors you have used and the banner looks so good!! Love the stamp of the ties that hold the banner up - so cool!! The thanks card with the orange florals is perfectly gorgeous and I gasped with delight when I saw it! Those orange blooms just look so good!! The same goes for the Celebrate card with the gorgeous infusion of pink!! Those blooms made me smile!! But I have to be honest, what I truly loved in this post is the awesome set of 4 thank you cards!! The colors are stunning and they are so CAS! They would make a perfect gift and they are mailable - which is always a plus in my book!! You just simply wowed me with this post!! Good for you - I always enjoy my stops here!! Have an amazing day!!
