Your Day Will Be Very Happy

I must admit that it seems a little bit strange to be posting a card, after 26 days of focusing on tags, and yet, here I am with 2 cards for CAS(E) this Sketch #349.

My daughter needed a birthday card for a friend who likes cats.  After rejecting the card on the right as "looks too much like a flag", I made another one with colors more to her liking.  One for her, and one for my stash.

Here is a closer look at the original card.

And the second one I made.

It is not too late to play along at The 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  Here is the link, and it will be open until Dec. 6.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 26...Bonus Day

Welcome to Day 26 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  We are so lucky to have a bonus day this year!!  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 26 is Hello Bluebird.

I was lucky enough to play with Hello Bluebird Merry Mice stamps and dies.  I am so in love with these mice, and tried to use as many of them as possible.

For my first tag, I created a scene with 2 caroling mice, out in a snowstorm.

My next tag finds another sweet mice, playing in the snow and making a snowmouse (snowman).

While I had all my mice stamps out, I decided to create a couple of cards .

And, there was a really adorable blue bird in the midst of all of these mice.  I perched this birdie on some holiday lights.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 25

Welcome to Day 25 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 25 is Honey Bee Stamps.

How cute are these gnomes from Gnome Place Like Home?

These stamps included a variety of gnomes and fun punny sentiments.

The gnome even has his own goat!!

Merry Lights Stamps consists of one big and fabulous stamp which includes a sentiment and image all in one.  I colored the bright lights with Copic markers.

I decided to make a couple of cards.  For this card, I embossed in white, and colored the lights with different colors of Stickles.

My next card is a single stamping with a bit of coloring.  This would be really easy to mass produce and very flat to mail.

Time Out #149...Reminder...Yappy Holidays

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  This week, we challenge you to be inspired by the theme of  CELEBRATIONS.

How about some puppies piling up to help you celebrate Christmas?  I used O Puppy Tree from Mama Elephant stamps for my card.  I think it would be really crazy but kind of fun to celebrate with this many dogs in one place.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is , so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge. Altenew is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 24

Welcome to Day 24 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 24 is Heffy Doodle.

I just fell in love with these adorable elves from Elfish Antics , and had to feature each one of them on a tag.

These images were very fun to color, and really easy to fussy cut.

The sentiment are very fun, too.

Here is a tag featuring some images from Santa's Village.

And how about this itty bitty elf hanging out at the Sweet Shoppe?

I also made a few cards with these stamps.

One of my favorite things to do is to create little scenes on my cards.  These stamps are perfect for that technique.

Welcome to Day 23 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 23 is Jillibean Soup.

Jillibean Soup sent an enormous box of very fun goodies.  I used dies, shaker pouches, patterned papers and shaker elements for my tags.

Here is a closer view of my Christmas Tree shaker tag.

And a close up of my Stocking shaker tag.

I used some of the patterned papers to create a trio of trees for my next tag.

And, finally a card, using patterned papers cut with the Christmas tree die, decorated with shiny gold stars.

25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019...Day 22

Welcome to Day 22 of The 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019.  If you are arriving for the first time, all the details and the link up can be found HERE.

Our sponsor for Day 22 is Birch Press.

I used a beautiful 3 die set called Epiphany to create my tags.    These dies layer together so beautifully.   I cut each layer out of a different color, and had enough die cut parts to make 2 tags and a card.

This tag uses the very center circle cut by the dies.

I made this tag with the round part of the die, just outside the center.  It gave me a really nice place to put a sentiment.

I used what was left to create this thank you card, using a sentiment from Birch Press Just Because.
