There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is WARM.  As we head into summer in San Diego, we are warmed by the sun every day.  I used PTI Hello Sunshine to make an encouraging card, using warm yellow sun rays in my design.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Marieke, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge.  CAS-ual Fridays is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

CASology Week #306...Bear

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is BEAR.

I used this adorable Hi There Bear from Concord & 9th.  Isn't he cute?  He is holding onto some cotton candy.  He'd better keep a good grip on it, because I am likely to steal it and eat it all.  I haven't had cotton candy in ages, but just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

Now it's your turn.  How does BEAR inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

Happy Birthday

I'm just popping in with a quick card to share that I made for the PTI Make it Monday #325 and Simon Says Wednesday Challenges: Bright and Cheerful.

I used dies from Beautiful Blooms, Notched Flowers and Branching Out.  I cut the Branching Out die from a piece I had sponged and water spattered for another card, but didn't use.

CASology Week #305...Jumpy

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is JUMPY.  I stamped and die cut some adorable frogs from MFT Toad-ally Awesome when I was at Tracey's in April, so I used one of those jumpers on my card.  He is so happy to wish you a Hoppy Birthday.

Now it's your turn.  How does JUMPY inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

My Crafty Week

Lucky me....I was able to sneak in some crafty time this week.  First up is a card for PTI Create Along With Us.  I was inspired by this card by Betsy.  I sponged Distress Oxide Salty Ocean ink and then splattered with water to get that watery look, and used the Waves cover plate inside my window.  The birds are from Mountains Majesty and the lighthouse is from Guiding Lights.

I am also entering this card at Seize the Birthday where the theme is Beachy.

I completed a card I had started at Tracey's house to enter into the Rainbow challenge at Addicted to CAS #138.

My next 2 cards are also made with things I stamped and die cut at Tracey's house.  They both use MFT Tweet Wishes.

I was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #341 and I stayed true to the sketch, until I decided to add that third yellow bird, as the card felt like something was missing.  I guess there really is something to the 'rule of threes'.  I am also entering this card at Less is More #373:  Friendship.

I colored a few more of those Tweet Wishes critters, this time inspired by the colors at Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #448.  I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #296: Anything Goes.

Last up is a card I made using a fun new stamp from Concord & 9th called Sketched Stripes Background.  You can rotate the stamp (or the paper) and get a fun geometric design with lots of different sized rectangles.  I am entering this card at AAA Cards #117: Geometrics.

Time Out #111...Reminder...Warm Winter Wishes

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is Holidays with an optional twist to make a one layer card.

I decided to use one of my favorite holiday stamps from Neat & Tangled, Winter Wishes.  I love the look of this stamp, and I really love how easy it is to make a card with it.  Everything is all on one stamp--no lining up or multiple stamping.  I played along with the optional twist, and made a one layer card.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is Ishani, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge.  Seven Hills Craft is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

CASology Week #304...Pearl

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is
PEARL.

I decided to use pearls as an embellishment on my card, and decorated the hem of the dress with pearls.

Now it's your turn.  How does PEARL inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

My Crafty Weekend

Happy Sunday.  I had a super crafty weekend.  Here are my cards...  First up is a card inspired by this lovely sample from Muse #269 created by Anita.

I was inspired by the sponged blue background, the white die cut border and the pop of color.

I was focused on Father's Day cards this weekend, as I realized that some of them need to be mailed on Monday.  I pulled out a very old (5 years or more, perhaps) stamp set PTI Polka Dot Parade #3 and was able to make 3 cards with this little $5 mini set.

I'm entering this first card at Retro Rubber #88.

This card is based on a card I saw online when I Googled the stamp set, but I could not find who made the original.  I am entering it at Addicted to CAS #138: Rainbow.

Last up with this Polka Dot Parade stamp set is this card which features the arm chair in that set.  I am entering this card at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

My next Father's Day card is inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch #275.  I used some Lawn Fawn patterned paper and a 'dad' die from Lil Inker.

Last up for Father's Day is a card I CASEd from Kara Lynne.  I loved how she used speech bubbles for her sentiment with her crowd of puppies.  I am entering this card at CAS-ual Fridays #201:  Boys of Summer.  Dad's are boys, and Father's Day is in the summer, right?

Last up is a fun birthday card for a young boy.  I am entering it at Poppystamps #45: For the Boys and The Male Room #87: Little Boys.  I used the Pond Frogs dies from Poppystamps die cut in various colors, and paired them with an old sentiment from PTI Frog Hop.
